Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Fastlane Hub's parallel dialer, ABM retargeting, integrations, pricing, and compliance.

Parallel Dialing

What is a parallel dialer?

A parallel dialer is an outbound calling tool that dials multiple phone numbers simultaneously instead of one at a time. When the first prospect answers, the call is instantly connected to the sales rep while the other lines are dropped. Fastlane Hub supports up to 5 simultaneous parallel lines, allowing reps to reach 3-5x more prospects per hour compared to manual dialing or traditional power dialers.

How does parallel dialing work?

Parallel dialing works by placing multiple outbound calls at the same time using cloud telephony. Fastlane Hub uses Twilio's infrastructure and Answering Machine Detection (AMD) to identify which calls reach a live human. The first human connection is bridged to the rep via a conference call, while remaining lines are automatically disconnected. Voicemail drops can be left on unanswered calls automatically.

What is the difference between a power dialer and a parallel dialer?

A power dialer calls prospects one at a time in sequence, automatically moving to the next number when a call ends. A parallel dialer calls multiple prospects at the same time and connects the first live answer to the rep. Power dialers are simpler and have zero risk of dropped calls, while parallel dialers dramatically increase call volume. Fastlane Hub offers both modes so teams can choose based on their workflow.

How many calls can you make simultaneously with Fastlane Hub?

Fastlane Hub supports up to 5 simultaneous parallel lines on the Pro and Enterprise plans, and up to 3 on the Starter plan. The number of parallel lines can be configured in Settings to match your team's preferences. With 5 parallel lines, a rep can typically achieve 60-80 dials per hour compared to 15-20 with manual dialing.

Is parallel dialing legal?

Yes, parallel dialing is legal for B2B outbound sales in the United States when conducted in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Fastlane Hub includes built-in TCPA compliance features such as DNC list management, abandonment rate tracking, and automatic pacing to stay within regulatory limits. However, you should always consult legal counsel for your specific use case and jurisdiction.

ABM Retargeting

What is ABM retargeting?

ABM (Account-Based Marketing) retargeting is a strategy where you upload your prospect contact lists as custom audiences on advertising platforms like LinkedIn, Meta, and Google. This allows you to serve targeted ads to the exact people you are cold calling, warming them up before and after your outreach. Fastlane Hub automates this by syncing your call lists directly to ad platform custom audiences with one click.

Which ad platforms does Fastlane Hub support?

Fastlane Hub supports six major advertising platforms for ABM retargeting: LinkedIn Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads, Google Ads, Reddit Ads, X (Twitter) Ads, and Taboola Ads. You can push your contact lists as custom audiences to any or all of these platforms simultaneously, and new contacts are automatically synced when imported.

What are typical match rates for B2B audiences?

Based on real-world benchmarks with B2B contact lists of approximately 17,000 contacts, typical match rates are: LinkedIn 69%, Meta 23%, Reddit 14%, and Google 6%. LinkedIn achieves the highest match rate because professionals use their work email on the platform. Google is structurally lower for B2B because Google accounts typically use personal Gmail addresses rather than work emails.

How does ABM retargeting improve cold calling results?

ABM retargeting improves cold calling results by creating brand familiarity before you pick up the phone. When prospects have seen your company's ads on LinkedIn or Meta, they are more likely to recognize your name, answer the call, and engage in conversation. Teams using Fastlane Hub's combined parallel dialing and ABM retargeting typically see higher connect rates, longer conversations, and more meetings booked per session.

Can I automatically push new leads to ad audiences?

Yes. Fastlane Hub includes an Auto-Push feature that automatically syncs new contacts to your ad platform audiences whenever leads are imported into a list. You configure which platforms and which lists should be linked, and every new import (whether from CSV, CRM, or email platform) triggers an automatic audience update. This ensures your retargeting campaigns always target your latest prospects.

How does Fastlane Hub compare to Orum?

However, Fastlane Hub differentiates with built-in ABM retargeting across 6 ad platforms, broader CRM integrations (10+ platforms including Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, and Attio), email platform imports (Instantly, Smartlead, HeyReach), and significantly lower pricing starting at $149/month compared to Orum's enterprise pricing that typically starts above $300/seat/month.

How does Fastlane Hub compare to PhoneBurner?

PhoneBurner is a well-established power dialer but does not offer parallel dialing or ABM retargeting. Fastlane Hub includes both power dialing and parallel dialing modes, plus built-in ABM ad audience management, AI call transcription and scoring, a virtual sales floor, and integrations with modern sales tools like Instantly.ai and HeyReach. PhoneBurner is a good fit for teams that only need single-line power dialing.

Fastlane Hub offers similar core dialing features plus unique ABM retargeting capabilities, broader CRM and email platform integrations, a built-in CRM with Kanban and table views, and more flexible pricing. Nooks is typically positioned as an enterprise solution, while Fastlane Hub is designed to be accessible for teams of all sizes starting at $149/month.

What makes Fastlane Hub different from other dialers?

Fastlane Hub is the only dialer that combines parallel dialing with built-in ABM retargeting across 6 ad platforms. The Starter plan at $149/month includes 5 assigned premium phone numbers, up to 3 parallel lines, and 10,000 contacts, making it accessible for small teams. The platform does not require per-seat pricing for the core dialer, and each team gets one free marketing seat for ABM management.

Features

Does Fastlane Hub include a CRM?

Yes. Fastlane Hub includes a built-in CRM with customizable pipelines, stages, Kanban board view, table view, custom columns, deal analytics, and activity logging. You can create deals, track them through your pipeline, schedule follow-up tasks, and manage contacts all within the same platform. The built-in CRM also supports webhooks for integration with external automation tools like n8n, Make, and Zapier.

Can I transcribe and score my calls?

Yes. Fastlane Hub includes AI-powered call transcription using OpenAI Whisper and call scoring using GPT-4o-mini. Each recorded call is automatically transcribed and analyzed to produce a quality score from 1 to 10, coaching suggestions, keyword tags, and an outcome classification. The system can also detect callback requests and automatically create follow-up tasks in your nurture pipeline.

What CRM integrations are available?

Fastlane Hub integrates with 10+ CRM platforms: Breakcold, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Attio, Apollo.io, Monday.com, and ClickUp. You can import contacts from any of these platforms, and disposition/call data syncs back automatically. The platform also supports webhook-based integrations for connecting with any CRM or tool via n8n, Make, or Zapier.

Does Fastlane Hub support email platform integration?

Yes. Fastlane Hub integrates with Instantly.ai, Smartlead.ai, HeyReach, and Apollo.io for importing leads from email campaigns. You can pull contacts directly from your active email campaigns into Fastlane Hub call lists. For Instantly.ai, the integration also includes email event tracking (sent, opened, replied, bounced) displayed alongside your call data.

What is the Virtual Sales Floor?

The Virtual Sales Floor is an Orum-style real-time collaboration feature where team members can see each other's status (online, dialing, on call, idle), chat in team rooms, view a live activity feed, and compete on a leaderboard. Managers can listen in on live calls. The sales floor includes celebrations with confetti animations when reps book meetings, fostering a competitive and energizing remote sales environment.

Does Fastlane Hub validate phone numbers?

Yes. Fastlane Hub integrates with IPQualityScore (IPQS) for phone number validation. You can validate individual numbers or bulk-validate an entire list to identify valid, invalid, and risky numbers before dialing. Invalid numbers are automatically skipped during power dial and parallel dial sessions, saving time and protecting your caller reputation. Phone numbers are also checked against Twilio's spam detection system.

What is Smart Flow in Fastlane Hub?

Smart Flow is an intelligent dialing feature that automatically tries a contact's alternate phone number when the primary number reaches voicemail. If AMD (Answering Machine Detection) detects a machine on the main phone number and the contact has a mobile number on file (or vice versa), Fastlane Hub will immediately dial the alternate number without any manual intervention. This increases the chance of reaching live prospects on every dial attempt.

Pricing & Setup

Fastlane Hub offers three plans: Starter at $149/month (5 premium numbers, 3 parallel lines, 10,000 contacts), Pro at $299/month (10 premium numbers, 5 parallel lines, 50,000 contacts), and Enterprise at $599/month (20 premium numbers, 5 parallel lines, 500,000 contacts). Is there a free trial?

Fastlane Hub does not currently offer a free trial. Users subscribe to a plan at signup and get immediate access to all features included in their tier. This ensures every user has a fully provisioned Twilio subaccount with dedicated phone numbers from day one. If you would like a demo before committing, you can reach out to the sales team via the website.

How quickly can I get started?

You can be making calls within minutes of signing up. Fastlane Hub automatically provisions a dedicated Twilio subaccount and assigns premium US phone numbers to your team during the signup process. An onboarding wizard guides you through connecting your CRM, email platform, and ad accounts step by step. Most teams are fully operational within 15-30 minutes of creating their account.

What phone numbers are included?

Each plan includes a set of assigned premium US local phone numbers: 5 numbers on Starter, 10 on Pro, and 20 on Enterprise. These numbers are provisioned from Twilio and are dedicated to your team. You can also search for and purchase additional numbers by area code directly from within Fastlane Hub. The platform includes automatic caller ID rotation to help maintain answer rates.

Can I bring my own Twilio numbers?

Fastlane Hub provisions dedicated Twilio subaccounts for each team, meaning your phone numbers are fully managed within the platform. You do not need an existing Twilio account. Phone numbers can be searched by area code and purchased directly from the Fastlane Hub settings panel. The platform handles all Twilio configuration, voice URL setup, and number management automatically.

Compliance

Is Fastlane Hub TCPA compliant?

Fastlane Hub includes several built-in TCPA compliance features: Do Not Call (DNC) list management with a one-click block button during calls, abandonment rate tracking to stay within the 3% threshold, automatic pacing controls for parallel dialing, and international number detection to restrict calls to US and Canadian numbers only. However, TCPA compliance is ultimately the responsibility of the user, and you should consult legal counsel for your specific use case.

Does Fastlane Hub support DNC lists?

Yes. Fastlane Hub includes a built-in Do Not Call (DNC) list feature. During any call, reps can click a Block Number button to immediately add a prospect to the DNC list with a confirmation dialog. Numbers on the DNC list are automatically excluded from future power dial and parallel dial sessions. The DNC list is managed at the team level to ensure consistency across all team members.

Are calls recorded?

Call recording is an optional feature that can be toggled on or off in Fastlane Hub settings. When enabled, a disclosure message ("This call may be recorded") is played automatically at the start of each call for compliance. Recorded calls are stored in Twilio and accessible from the call history tab. Recordings can be transcribed and scored by AI for coaching and quality assurance purposes.
